Hello dear SunYogis.
Well Spring has sprung! The flowers in my garden tell me so. And the first few warm days confirmed- then just because its Melbourne and the weather can do as it pleases, some rather cold days – and yoga studio floors- have returned. So I’m not putting my puffy jacket away just yet. Regardless, the sun on my skin is always warming and appreciated.
Spring has Sprung!
Just this past week end we had a beautiful Awaken & Restore Workshop to welcome the spring. The workshop was full and had such a lovely relaxed energy about it. I was left with an uplifted, warm and happy afterglow for days. Thank you to those of you who were able to join in & shared the practices on Sunday; including gentle yoga, vedic chanting, yoga nidra and meditation that focused on our energy centres (Chackras). Along with our our usual cleansing herbal tea that I make from organic herbs, we also enjoyed some quiet time at then end with homemade buckwheat banana bread and dark chocolate with almonds & salt. Thanks to Tony’s Chocolonely. No I don’t get a kickback- It’s just my fave little sweet treat.

As most of my current students already know, I have extended the term til Tuesday 24th Sept. to make up for one of the classes I cancelled due to my mother in laws passing. This is the first Tuesday of the school holidays so if you are a teacher or get school holidays off then maybe you could join us for either 9.30am in Albion or 6.30pm in Footscray. Those of you still owed for the Thursday/Saturday I needed to cancel for the funeral, please take an extra make up class; if not this term it can be taken next term. Alternatively, please request a refund or a discount on next terms enrolment.
Term 4 will be a 10 week term. Commencing Tuesday October 8 through December 21st. Please check the dates and mark you calendars. No classes Cup Day public holiday Nov 5th or Thursday Nov 21 & Sat Nov 23. Printed flyers are available at the venues so you can pop one on your fridge or hand to friends. If you would like a digital copy please contact me and I will forward you one to keep on your phone. You can always check back to read the latest newsletter with all the dates under the news tab on the SunYoga website.
