Yoga has been a wonderful part of my life for over 10 years. Initially, I found it a great way to connect with friends and get some rejuvenating weekly exercise. I soon realised there was way more to yoga than I imagined.
Besides physical strength and flexibility, over time I’ve come to understand how much it helps my mental and emotional wellbeing, as well as my relationship with myself. I deeply believe that our relationship with ourselves is the most important relationship we have, and is reflected in all the other relationships in life.
I took a yoga teacher training two year diploma for my own self-development. But after completing I was encouraged to start teaching, and realised that I enjoyed sharing my newfound passion.
I love sharing philosophy and breath work. Philosophy helps to connect us to our inner knowing – it reminds us of who we are, bringing us back home to ourselves. Breath work is such an accessible and transformative tool, one we seem to have lost in our modern world. I am constantly receiving feedback from students on how breathwork has improved their life.
Singing is my life-long passion. It’s all I can remember wanting to do since I was a young child. I still sing professionally. And, at home I have a wonderful supportive partner and beautiful teenage daughter. They are my greatests loves and greatest teachers.
Over the last two years of uncertainty and lockdowns, I have been blessed with time to study a new interest, energy codes healing. This is my new favorite topic of conversation. If you are interested please do ask me about it.
I look forward to seeing you at a SunYoga class soon.
